YouTube announced two new exciting features on November 5.The company is giving android users( iOS coming soon) capability to play VR videos, that is to see video as if they are occurring right next to you.
To watch a VR video, you will need to open the YouTube app then tap on the video and then tap on cardboard icon before placing it on your cardboard. Its very interesting to note that cardboard is Google's VR gadget which let's you see places, play games and now watch videos as if you were really present there. Its a next step beyond the 3D.
You can checkout these VR videos from Hunger games. YouTube recommends using Google's Jump technology to create your own VR videos.
YouTube also says that its working to making all the pre existing videos run in VR. Are you excited? Ready to stream VR?
