With the debut of marshmallow, companies have changed the way they take android. Android is now not only beautiful, but also productive. Battery drain, which was android's favorite con seems to be solved too. Sony is seen following the android blockbuster, Motorola's approach of less is more. Back in 2013, Motorola came with the immense idea of keeping the stock UI while making it more productive with world class apps which doesn't look like bloatware. Thanks to Motorola, OnePlus and most recently Sony will be pure stock.
The home screen now is very simple and tends to provide users with a option to switch between looks very easily.
Sony's overview menu is just as same as the stock which is coated with our favorite feature we love about Sony's software - The dismiss all button for all recent apps.
The camera app is also updated. The new app tends to provide existing important tools without messing with in-deep settings.
VERDICT
No matter what Sony has coated over android, Sony has a long history of delivering slower updates and that too, to less devices. With this new decision of Sony, we strongly believe that Sony will be able to just as fast updates as Motorola and updates will percolate to more and more devices. Although these all are just assumptions, Sony's this new UI looks very promising and gives people another reason to buy them.
