The world's first fully modular android phone expected by December

After advent of Nokia, it looks like Finland won't stop amazing us. Fairphone, a Finland company has been teasing us about a modular phone for a long time. The phone is expected to hit the US market by December.

According to its website the device shall be available in 5 different color variants namely blue Matte,blue translucent, transparent, black matte ,black translucent with a price tag of $580USD(approx).

The device runs 5.1 lollipop in a 5inch full HD LCD gorilla glass screen with a 8 megapixel rear camera and 32 GB of onboard storage. The fairphone 2 will also feature LTE,dual sim slots along with a snapdragon 801 processor and 2420 mAh battery.



The company makes further clarification in price, Projected costs are based on selling 140,000 phones per year with exception of investments, which is divided over 250,000 phones in a period of two to three years.
